General Vision and Missions Defined

GENERAL MISSION STATEMENT / VISION

The vision of “Luncheon With A Mission” is to establish a “Bridge” with local Churches/ Organizations, to form a multi-purpose non-denominational Christian base committee, so that it may work collaboratively with them to identify the needs of our community where “Luncheon With A Mission” may aid and support Local and International Christian based Ministries.

LOCAL MISSIONS DEFINED

The Mission Committee of “Luncheon With A Mission” will be involving itself in several active, hands on projects to benefit locally here in our community, in addition to contributing money to those not-for-profit organizations in our local area that are assisting where the need is great for:

• human rights and social justice
• emergency and basic need for food, shelter and clothing
• helping people become more self-sustaining through economic
development, employment and education
• fostering a Christian based path for individual’s to become active in a
local Church for establishing and maintain a faith based relationship
with God.

An immediate objective with our local Missions is to establish a local Food Bank and/or support a currently active Food Bank.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS DEFINED

“Luncheon With A Mission” will be involving itself actively with International Missions, in particular with Missions based in the Mae Sariang Thailand area. It is our goal to sustain a Mission Team of 6 people annually, in conjunction with other Mission teams, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in these areas. We believe that we must make Disciples of all Nations and ensure God’s word is spread to countries that otherwise may not ever have the opportunity to here about it.

How This All Came About

ABOUT “LUNCHEON WITH A MISSION”

In the fall of 2008, Jason Ball embarked on a mission trip with a local Church to spread the wonderful teachings of Jesus Christ through an English Camp in Chaing-Mai Thailand. While on that Trip, visiting Mae Sariang Village, he was overwhelmed at the awesome and immediate need to continue works in these areas. This was a life-changing event for him and the purpose of his life become evermore evident- Mission’s. Without Missionaries in these places, some people live a lifetime without hearing of our wonderful Savior Jesus Christ.

Upon returning home, he has made it his passion to get more people involved in missions. In doing so, he also discovered that here locally, in his own community, there is a tremendous need for Missions and helping those who are hurting and in need. Even though the area is “Saturated” with churches, he wants to create a “Bridge” to bring everyone together for one great purpose: Share the Love of Christ. To do this he realized, it requires a tireless attitude, broad shoulders, a lot of perseverance and of course financial support.

Enter now, “Luncheon With A Mission”. Jason though of this wonderful idea to have an annual Luncheon with Gospel singing, crafts, fun activities for children, and outstanding Food! All of this would be fun, exciting and would be some “Fresh” activities for our community to enjoy, while in turn raising monies for his Local and International Christian Missions.

He challenges you to search your heart, pray and give as God has led you. After all, he can’t do it alone; he needs everyone’s help to help everyone in our community and overseas.

Financial support is important, however, your prayers are ever so more important in getting this event to fit in Gods plan. Pray for this event and local and international mission work. Invite someone out to our event, come enjoy the day and be a part of this fun filled festival.

When anyone, anywhere reaches out for help, we want our hand always to be there. For that we are responsible, responsible to both God and Each other.

God Bless you and Thank you in advanced for your support.

Greetings, I hope the Lord is blessing you in an overwhelmingly positive way! My name is Jason Ball. I attend a Local Church in Bush, LA and recently participated in an International Mission Trip to Chaing-Mai Thailand to spread the Gospel of Christ and Teach an English camp. This experience was life-changing for me. I came back home with a sense of purpose for my life, as I felt Christ’s spirit calling me to be a part of Missions for Him. There is such a need locally and internationally to spread His word to everyone, just as we are commissioned to do: go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15.

I have prayed and prayed and got profound confirmation from Christ to “Activate” myself and get a mission campaign off the ground. My mind is just exploding with ways and ideas to help us reach those in need.  Together with your help, financial support and prayer, we can make an Impactful difference in our community and overseas.

To accomplish this takes financial support and a community-wide organizational effort. Enter, “Luncheon With A Mission”. I have been given a Vision to create and organize an annual fund- raising drive here in our local community, focusing on raising financial support to foster our Christian-Based Missions, while bringing our Community together for a day of fellowship and fun.

Good food, Good fun will be the atmosphere on Saturday March 28, 2009 as I am asking for your support in getting people out to the event and help raise funds to establish a home-based mission fund. It will be held at 82058 Hwy 21 in Bush, LA. With your help, this CAN be accomplished.

Please take the attached flyer and spread the word to everyone you know.  Visit our blog (www.lunchmission.blogspot.com), call me, e-mail me. Get in touch, pray about it. Lets all make it happen! Everyone, GET INVOLVED!

I'm excited about the opportunity and experience that lies ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, establishing a Mission project like this requires financial support from a number of people. If you can support me in any financial way, I would be very grateful. And, most importantly, I need your prayer support.

While money is important, it comes in a distant second to my need for your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in these communities and countries. Without prayer, nothing will happen. Enclosed is a bookmark that you can put in your Bible, on your bathroom mirror, on the "fridge", or anywhere else you will see it at least once a day. Please pray daily for the event and for my missions.
